Join us for our Book Bar Annotation Collaboration - Meeting #2! This will be our second meeting in a series where we will dive into the annotating process, which includes the use of notes added to a text that help readers engage with the material! Whether you're just curious about it, have been annotating for forever, or would like to get more into it, this is a great collaborative opportunity to share ideas for a better reading experience, learn different note-taking methods, actively engage with books, and meet fellow book lovers.

In our first meeting, we decided to start with annotating Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu. For this Meeting #2, we will be discussing the first four chapters (chapters 1-4, up to page 61 in the edition we sell), so please work to do your version of annotating those first four chapters leading up to the meeting so we can chat further and compare ways we are completing this process.

The work will be read and annotated over the course of several meetings, divided up into sections so we can take our time with the process. If you are new to this group, feel free to jump in any time!

No pre-registration is required for this meeting. Just come out if you're curious to see what it's all about and you can decide if annotating is right for you! We do encourage you to try to annotate in the book up until where we are if you can as that will be a large part of the discussion. We have copies of Carmilla available for purchase at Book Bar (50 N. Railroad St. Ste. 1 Palmyra, PA 17078).
