Though we absolutely always appreciate the like-new donations we receive on a regular basis, we are running this special promotion to bulk up our gently used selection in specific genre areas and to say thank you to those who donate on this day. Make sure to read on for details so you can come prepared!
On Sunday, April 19th, between the hours of 11 am and 3 pm, when you bring in AT LEAST FOUR (4) LIKE-NEW book donations in our specified genres below, you can get a drink on us!
-This offer is only available Sunday, April 19th, 2026 from 11am-3pm
-Please note that we are ONLY accepting book donations in the following genres for this promotion: ROMANCE (from closed door to open door, from romcoms to dark romance and anything between), HISTORICAL FICTION (any era, set at least 50 years in the past), SCI-FI/Fantasy (including dystopian, space opera, Romantasy, cozy fantasy, high fantasy, and more), MYSTERY/THRILLER/HORROR, and HARDCOVER COOKBOOKS.
We will only be accepting the types of books above and will not be accepting other genres, any children's books, or notebooks/coloring books for this specific promotion, (though we do regularly accept these donations outside of this promotion).
Other Important Details:
-We are only accepting full-size trade paperbacks and hardcovers (not the smaller paperbacks often called mass market paperbacks or pocketbooks).
-These donations MUST be free of strong odors, debris, food, dirt, hair, writing, highlighting, rips/tears, stains, water damage, mold, excessive yellowing of pages or spine breakage, "foxing" and other similar issues such as signs of pests.
-We will NOT be accepting former library books that have library stamps/binding.
-All hardcovers that originally come with a dust jacket should have the dust jacket with it
-Pages and covers/dust jackets should be in very gently used/like new condition. Acceptable condition for this promotion is up to the discretion of Book Bar staff.
This promotion is limited to one (1) complimentary beverage per person (redeemable at the time of this promotion when we accept at least four (4) books from that individual that adhere to the conditions above). Participants may select ANY DRINK available on our menu in ANY SIZE that we offer for that particular beverage. Extras/add-ons such as additional espresso shots, etc. may incur a charge but alternative milk will not incur an extra charge for this promotion, all while supplies last.
