Jólabókaflóðið, also known as the Christmas Book Flood or Yule Book Flood, is an Icelandic tradition we're so excited to honor at Book Bar this year! This cozy, bookish holiday is considered by many as a bibliophile's dream, where people gift books to their friends and family on Christmas Eve and often curl up with steaming cups of hot chocolate and then read their new books! We will be hosting our version of this holiday Book Flood event on Friday, Dec. 20th from 7 - 9 pm.

This event includes:

-Shopping after hours at Book Bar for your last-minute gifts for your friends and family (and yourself)
-Festive holiday music
-Hot chocolate bar (with fun toppings!)
-DIY wrapping station for you to decorate the books you buy
-Mingle with other book lovers
-A surprise or two along the way!

You can also curl up with one of your new books and read by our fireplace or in our other seating areas. DIY wrapping station and hot chocolate bar are included in ticket price (other drinks will be available for purchase).

To ensure a quality experience, limited tickets are available and pre-registration is required. Tickets are $15 per person (+ tax). You must show your reservation confirmation email at the door upon entrance to the event.
