About the Artists & Makers:
Ginny Streckewald is a Fabric Artist, Quilter and paints with the
Paxtang Art Association. She will be featuring art inspired by bridges at this event. She worked for a number of years in downtown Harrisburg and loved the view of multiple bridges
crossing the Susquehanna River. Working with watercolors, acrylics and fabrics, she enjoys telling the story of a city defined by bridges. She has started to look at bridges beyond her own backyard and recently photographed bridges in New Orleans to use in her artwork. She also explores the use of monoprinted bridge images.
Oakglade Pottery, located in Hummelstown, is comprised of TJ Emerson & PJ Howland. Both avid potters create handmade stoneware items. TJ's focus is kitchenware items like mugs, plates, bowls, and more. PJ focuses on larger items such as vases and bowls using Agate techniques. They are also able to create custom items.
